We offer our deepest sympathy for the family of Jean Murphy. We feel privileged to have counted Jean as a friend. For God said “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. (Isaiah 43:2-3) God is the father of compassion and of all comfort. He will take care of you. Please know we are thinking of you and praying for you every minute.

You are gone but never forgotten. You will always have a place in my heart. U have left a part of yourself with me and I will carry on your legacy as a strong beautiful black women who demanded respect just as well as you gave it. Without you I would not exist.
