I have such fond memories of spending parts of my summers in South Haven. I spent a lot of time at Aunt Lish's house playing with my three cousins. I recall days picking blueberries, and then going to the beach to cool off. I remember hours spent playing in the ravine in their backyard; without a care in the world. Aunt Lish would always have such good meals waiting for us when we came in for a break.

Craig, Chris, Bob, and your families: I am right there with you in your loss. I remember the many times your mother was there as we were little kids (the house by the elementary school and creek)...she put up with our sleep overs, the cuts, scrapes, the power struggles..The family get-to-gathers: the birthdays, holidays, and the little lunches.Lish was always there and the diplomat. Aunt Lish was very special to me...she always was and will always be special to me, too. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Mary

Mrs. Torstenson was my 5th grade teacher at Central School in 1970-71. She was a nice lady. She went out of her way to be helpful to students.

Some of my most cherished memories are of spending parts of several summer vacations visiting Aunt Lish and Uncle Bob and Craig, Chris and Bobby. Aunt Lish always found time to take us all to the beach. She cooked wonderful meals and I fell in love with her blueberry pie. I can't remember a visit when she didn't have one waiting.

Lish was the first friend I met when I was first married and moved to South Haven. Remember when you first moved to Arbor Court. We live on Hiways ave. Your dog used to come across the ravine to spend the day with us. After school you boys would have to come over and bring him home.
