Robert's Obituary
Robert “Bob” Leksich, 60 of South Haven, Michigan died on March 27, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Bob was born on February 24, 1949 to James and Regina (Napperowski) Leksich in Chicago, Illinois. Bob loved his country and served in the Illinois National Guard for six years. Bob worked for American Airlines as a Fleet Service Clerk in Chicago. In 1989 Bob and family moved to South Haven and purchased the Victoria Resort. He loved the resort and enjoyed meeting guests. Bob and Jan were married September 15, 1990. Bob was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in South Haven. He was a very loving and caring person. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and also loved to ride his motor cycle.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Bob is survived by his wife – Jan Leksich of South Haven, Michigan. Loving father of Matt Leksich and Danielle Leksich of South Haven, Michigan and Stephanie Leksich of Glendale, Arizona. Two brothers – Greg (Pat) Leksich of Syracuse, Indiana and Jim (Valerie) Leksich of Fair Oakes, California. One sister – Beverly (Jim) Romag of Mt. Prospect, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 2 from 3-6 pm at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Memorial services will be on Friday, April, 3 at 11:00 am at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Linstrom officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Education Trust for the Leksich Children in c/o Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
