I am very sad to see the passing of Virginia. She and Roger had probably the most positive affect on my youth of any teachers i had. She was a real great lady. My condolences to marcia and her family

How lucky I though Roger was to fall in love with Virgina as student teacher. She was such a beautiful woman and admired by all of the Class of 1967.They taught us what true love was and could be when everything around us was suspect. Thanks for this true lesson in life and love.

Marcia & family, Our thoughts are with you. I will always invision your mom making the walk along the lake to or from the cottage. And I hear the horn honking on top of the hill, the signal for you or the kids to make the long climb to the top. Hold on to the many wonderful memories. Your Klinger Lake Neighbors

Virginia was one of the first people I met when coming to Sturgis back in 1973. She worked with me on the adult education program and provided all kinds of guidance to me in my new job and comunity. She was a great friend and mentor and I share in your loss. She will definitely be missed.

I have known Mrs.Z since before I was eleven years old! I spent many happy hours playing at her home in Electric Court with Marsha, where I was welcomed and made to feel right at home! I was also among those fortunate enough to have Mrs. "Crowell" as a teacher for sixth grade and again in high school. Eventually, she and Roger moved next door to my parents. They have been good neighbors and friends ever since. My heart goes out to you, Marsha. I thought the world of your mother and she will be dearly missed!

Marcia - I'm so sorry to hear about your mother's death. She was such a beloved teacher in Sturgis. I never had the privilege of being in any of her classes but I always thought she was the coolest mother! I know you have wonderful memories and stories about her that will get you through the months ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad time. All my love to you and your family. Mary Helen

I was saddened to hear of the death of such a dear woman. Marcia, my fondest memory of your mom was when Trudy, you and I were working on our Forensics competition and she was such a cheerleader for us. I also loved her warm smile and classiness. Mr. Z, my condolences to you also. I did not have the luxury of having Virginia for a teacher, but the time I spent in your class definitely influenced my 35 years in teaching, to date. May years of great memories bring you comfort. Sincerely, Nancy

O Mar I was so sad to hear about your mom. So so many memories. Happy growing up ones. She was there for me as another mom, special teacher (loved Great Expectations), and later adult friend. Also, still smile to remember our witness to the courtship of your mom and Mr.Z.,my all time favorite teacher. What a thrill. I was so grateful for their support after Dad died and making the trip to Mike's and my wedding a week later. Miss you and love to all, Trudy

Dear Marcia & Sherrie. I loved your Mother and my heart is heavy to hear of her passing. You two were always at the top of her list. She was so proud of you. I loved working closely with her for so many years. We shared a lot of good and bad times, and enjoyed getting together for lunch after we retired. The Lord bless you both.
