I knew Mr. Mayer years ago when I took care of his mother in the nursing home. Even up to just recently when I came across him in the store he would always bring up old times and always have a smile on his face. His mother raised him just like she was kind, considerate, caring, they were one in the same. You will both be missed and I loved you both very much.

I used to work with Ron at Wal-mart when he was a door greeter. He was a very sweet gentleman and a wonderful conversationalist. Since I worked the late evening shift we would talk when we had a little lull in the customer traffic (my register was by his door). I am so sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences. Diane

I was one of Ron's patient sitter at Pipp Hospital in Plainwell. The first time I sat with Ron, I held his hand the entire night(except for breaks). He was so scared and just wanted someone to hold his hand. I'm very good at that and was blessed to be abe to help him in that way. I became friends with his wife Pat and other friends of theirs. Even when I stopped being his sitter, I always stopped by to say hi and visit. I will miss his smile and sense of humor. He's in a peaceful place now and out of pain. Pat, Jesus bless you during this time. Your friend, Barb H.

I am very sorry to hear about Ron. I remember Ron for all his work with the Palisades Wellness Committee. For many years he was instumental in making sure all the flu shots and blood testing days were well organized. After we both retired, I enjoyed talking with him at Wal-Mart when he was still working there. Since I haven't spent much time in the area the last three years I have missed talking with him.

Worked at Palisades and always enjoyed chats with Ron. He was a really good guy and always made us smile. If was good to see him at Wal-Mart after we all left Palisades, still made us smile. Sorry that he is gone and God be with his family during this time of loss.

Ron was a good, good friend of mine whether at the plant or when he worked at Wal Mart. He always had something cheerful to say, was always happy to see me and ask about me. I definitely noticed when he left Wal Mart because he was such a fixture at the front door. Although I am not in the area any longer, I will always, always remember my friend Ron.
