Harold L.'s Obituary
Harold L. Fritz, 90, of South Haven died Wednesday, September 3 at River Ridge Retirement Center.
Harold was born May 17, 1918 in South Haven, Michigan to Mary M. (Semrau) and William Adolph Fritz. Harold served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II. Harold married Glenna Robinson on April 15, 1941 in Saugatuck, Michigan. Harold attended the Wisconsin School of Banking. He worked as Vice President and Cashier at Citizens Bank in South Haven for 41 years retiring in 1981. Harold was a member of the Holy Trinity Angelical Church.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his wife – Glenna Fritz who died in 1999. His son – Robert L. Fritz in 2004. Five brothers – George A., William J., Walter C., Clarence T. and Harry A. Fritz also precede him.
He is survived by his daughter – Carol Ann (Norm) Bailey of South Haven, Michigan. Three grandchildren – Kenneth L. Fouts, Marcia Boettcher and Ryan Fritz. Three great grandchildren – Rachel Fouts, Madeline Fouts and Erin Boettcher. Daughter-in-law - Mrs. Cheryl Fritz of Kalamazoo, Michigan also survives.
