Jean and Dale, I'm lost for words but I will always remember you Dear Mother. when I worked at Will-o-Side. Art collected $50 bills from the register, so when he bought a round he paid with a $50 so he would get it back, but one night Ruth got to it before I could get it back to Art, he was upset and Ruth was tickled. You'll aways remember the good times. Dale

When we bought the Halverson Chapel, Horace & Ruth were the first to come over and welcome us to the neighborhood. Our condolences to Mary Ann, Junior, and the rest of the family.

Dear Shirley and family, I just got home late Sunday after a weekend out of town and learned that your Mom had died a few days ago. I am so sorry. She was quite a wonderful woman. She was so pretty and worked so hard. I have great memories of spending nights at your house and helping out at the restaurant.I wish I had been here for the funeral. Love, Viv

**Peaches, my ole'favorite tree** Under the old peach tree Hearing the buzz of bees Looking up at pink blossoms so sweet Watching pink petals fall at my feet. Under the old peach tree almost fallen down I can hear every sound as the sun goes down. I hear somewhere the song of a mocking bird The sweetest song I ever heard. As I lean against the old peach tree I think of things that used to be This old tree brings me back to my childhood And the many peaches I ate that were so good, the dreams I shared with you while so tall you stood. Old peach tree I wish you could talk, Whisper to me some of your thoughts But instead you fill my heart with your beauty As I smell the perfume of your blossoms so fruity. I wonder how much longer you'll be here. How much longer my heart you'll cheer I hope to lean against you many a spring And feel the peace each year that you bring. Grandma Ruth, had many a favorite peach, she seen one in each face she would meet. She enjoyed so much when I would show up with a peck of my farm fresh peaches each year. Shirley, Jean, Dale and all of our huge family and its friends, so many a life Ruth Mileham has touched, so many of us better because of it. May we all take a breath and find a place within to be more like her, loving to our family and a friend to all.She was my favorite Peach. In his faith, Allan S. Ridley Sr.
