Sleeping out under the carport in Lacota, watching heat lightning
Having all of the cousins over to her apartment and picnicking with those brightly colored plates and bowls
Picking vegetables in her garden at the Griffin’s house
Having the gas company come out to investigate the propane leak when we moved her to Georgia
Going over to Uncle Walt’s house with her
Walks on Bluff Drive
Listening to George tease her
Hearing her laugh after Grandpa’s death when I asked “What’s going to happen to us next year when you die?”
The chimes of the grandfather clock
Her love for birds
Walking her down the aisle
Rafting with her on the Chattooga
Being accused of dumping her into the water
Picking blackberries along the train tracks near the farm
Sherman’s Dairy

The way she said “Hello” on the phone
Learning to drive with her in Michigan and going through a stop sign because I mistook the clutch for the brake
