Kenneth's Obituary
Kenneth Scott Veenstra, 49, died in St. Joseph, Michigan on Wednesday, February 7, 2007. He was born February 19, 1958 in South Haven, Michigan. He was the son of Harold and Jean Otto of South Haven, MI.
Ken was a 1975 graduate of South Haven High School, where he participated in many musicals and was a member of the choir that toured Vienna. He attended Western Michigan University.
He is survived by his brothers Steven Otto of Bangor, MI., David (Bobbie) Otto; niece Erin Otto and nephew Ryan Otto, all of South Haven.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lon and Zera Wierenga and his father Lawrence Veenstra.
Ken worked for Bovo Bonding Company of Benton Harbor for many years and had many friends in the law enforcement and court community.
A memorial service Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Hope Reformed Church, 1365 Monroe Blvd., South Haven, MI., with the Rev. Mark Poppen officiating. The family will meet friends following the service at the church. A private family graveside service has been held at North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorial contribution can be made to the Hope Reformed Church Building Fund.
