Dale's Obituary

Dale Raymond Chaddock, 57, of South Haven passed away at home with family by his side on November 19, 2006. He was born May 2, 1949 to Harold and Margaret (Zimmerman) Chaddock. Dale was employed as a welder at Genzink Steel in Holland and had also worked at Lifesavers for 17 years. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America for 35 years, the Civil Air Patrol Major for 20 years leading 283 search and rescue missions and a member of the NRA. Dale loved to hunt, fish, enjoyed tracking and spending time with family and friends.

Dale is survived by his wife; Thyra Chaddock, his sons; Nathan H. Chaddock and Garrett (Anna) Pella of Phoenix, Arizona and one daughter Toni Marie Young of Holland, Michigan. Two sisters; Barbara (Ron) Lindemann of South Haven, Michigan and Jacklyn (Thomas) Atwood of Portland, Oregon. Seven grandchildren; Trevor, Rachel and Kyle Young, Keegan, Drake, Alexia and Erin Pella.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 21 from 6-8 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with a funeral service on Wednesday, November 22 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Chambers Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be make to; Boy Scouts of America, Civil Air Patrol or Lung Cancer Research.
