Randy Carl's Obituary
Randy Carl Gumpert, age 45, of South Haven, died Friday, September 8, 2006. He was born September 12, 1960 to Carl L. and Eleanor (Keene) Gumpert. He was employed at DSM for the past 27 years. He married Gail Hoover July 27, 1987 in Bangor, MI at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Randy was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bangor. He enjoyed music, especially playing the base guitar. Randy was a fun loving character and enjoyed making people laugh.
He is preceded by his father Carl Gumpert who died July 19, 2000.
He is survived by his wife Gail Gumpert of South Haven, Michigan, one daughter Tessa Gumpert at home, his mother Eleanor Gumpert of South Haven. two sisters-Patti (Larry) VanLiere of Kalamazoo, MI., and Kristi (Jason) Harry of South Bend, IN.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bangor with Pastor Joshua Becker officiating. Burial will take place at Monks Cemetery.
