Frederick's Obituary
Frederick "Salty" Pero died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 12th. Salty was born on August 6, 1925 to Frederick E. Pero and Margaret C. Langley in Bay City, MI. Salty graduated from South Haven High School. He served in the Army Air force in the 494th Group during WW II. Salty has shown his talents to the area through sales, real estate, and property development.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Patrick Pero, and one stepson David.
Salty is survived by his wife Barbara Jean Broe, one sister Frances Jean Bowie, his son Ronald I (Pat) Pero, his daughter Mary Margaret " Maggie" Landry, and his son Barney (Jodi) Pero. He has six grand children and twelve great grand children.
Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 14th with Father Bob Flickenger officiating. Memorials may be made to Stepping Stones Association at 319 Hogans Alley, South Haven.
