I was so sorry to hear that Uncle Doug passed away. He was such a great man...a very hard worker and yet always had a smile on his face. I loved that he always seemed happy to see me. I have great memories of he and Aunt Lucille playing cards with my Mom and Dad around the kitchen table. I also remember many summers visiting the pool and walking through the fantastic gardens that he would plant. I'm sure that my Mom, his Mom and little Dougie are welcoming him with open arms in Heaven. All my love to Lucille, Tina, Gary, Leslie, Steven and Justin. Our prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear that Uncle Doug passed away. I will always remember the summer I spent with Uncle Doug and Aunt Lucille. He would always make us weed the garden in the mornings...... and the pool felt so good when we were done! He was such a great example for me and always so nice, eventhough he always called me a Hillbilly. I wish I could be there to see all my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. My thought and prayers are with your family.

I am so heartbroken to hear of Uncle Doug's passing. I am so thankful that I was able to spend time with him during a visit last summer. I never would have thought that would be the last time I saw him, another taken from us way too soon. I have many great childhood memories of him that I will hold dear. My heart goes out to all the family as he will truley be missed.
