Mable's Obituary
Mable Palmer, 62, of South Haven died on March 13 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born on March 29, 1950 to Earl and Addie Washington. Mable was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. She worked for South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation and Countryside Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother – Paul Washington and two sisters – Kathleen and Gloria Washington.
Mable is survived by her children – Joshua Palmer of South Haven, MI, Mitsy Palmer of Jacksonville, FL, and Rhasheda (Tony) Shepherd of Kalamazoo, MI. Nine grandchildren and sisters – Essie (Charles) Ivory of South Bend, IN, Christine (Kofi) Washington of Columbus, OH, Emma Jean (Rodger) House of Kalamazoo, MI, Dolores (Robert) Willis of Benton Harbor, MI. One brother – Jerry Washington of Omaha, NE.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 16 from 2-3 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
