My friend, whom I knew as Sable, was a caring and kind friend. We shared many a cup of tea at Scott Club and talked about our faiths. Throughout her illness she took time to worry about other members who were having difficulties. She lived her faith. She enriched our lives. Everyone will miss her smiling face.

She was always thinking of others, so graceful even during her illness. Sable as we knew her at Scott Club was one of the nicest people I've ever known. I will miss her gentle spirit.

Dear Family and Friends of Sable, the members of Scott Club wish to express our heartfelt sympathy. Sable has been one of our most cherished members. Her service to others, warm personality, gracious words, and special kindness was a rich gift to all of us. Sable will be profoundly missed. Those of us who loved her will keep her spirit alive, passing her legacy forward with kind deeds, encouraging words and genuine smiles, like those she gave so freely to us.

Dear Loved-Ones of Sable, please allow me to share a few of my fond memories with Sable. She was one of the first to extend a warm welcome when I joined the Scott Club. She brought me copies of poems, and a wise Native American parable that reflected her compassionate view of life. I will cherish these gifts. Sable was on a committee when we honored our nonagenarian members with a Japanese Tea Ceremony. She was stunning in her Oriental, silk jacket as she served the assembly. Our member Phyllis recently remarked, βSable looked so beautiful last spring when she modeled for the fashion show.β Sable and I shared belly-laughs at the movie, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel; it was always good to be in her presence. I canβt help thinking that if Sable ruled the world, it would be a more peaceful place.

My deepest condolences to the Mable Palmer family. I was very saddened to read this in the newspaper. May God give you comfort and strength during this difficult time. I worked with Mable at Chemical Bank for many years in the same department, what a wonderful, kind, strong woman she was indeed! She will be missed by many.

Sable was a very very dear friend of mine. I miss her a lot. She helped me so much in my life. She was always there with a listening ear, a word of encouragement, and many prayers. She was a rare precious treasure of a friend. A true friend . I will so miss not being able to call her, talk with her, or see her. The pain is great now, but I know I will see her again one day in heaven, and we can visit and rejoice for all eternity. May God continue to comfort her family and friends.
