Neil and Karla, Im sadden to hear the news of Dirk's Passing. I will always have the fond memorries of years ago, when we spent many hours in your family garage wrenching on various cars and dune buggies out on Evergreen Bluff.....I learned so much from Dirk and Pat Carnahan. Those were great times in my life and i will always remember. Dirk had an infectious laugh that i can still recall in my memory even though I regret that i have'nt seen him in a long time. He was a friend that was thought of and will always be remembered.

As someone I so dearly looked-up to, I followed Dirk with great admiration, love & respect throughout his high school years. Unfortunately, I lost sight of him shortly thereafter. My reflections bring back a pool of growing memories and meaningful times spent together. I now have another reason to look-up to you. My deepest sympathies.
