Joyce's Obituary
Joyce Pulliam, 87, of South Haven, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Country Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in South Haven. She was born May 26, 1926 to James and Mary (Summers) Springett in South Haven. Joyce was a 1944 graduate of South Haven High School. She owned and operated the Joyce Pulliam Dance Studio for 75 years. Joyce also enjoyed playing the piano.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Glen Pulliam; brother – Milton Mason; sister – Millicent Olmstead.
Joyce is survived by her children – Rick Pulliam of St. Joseph and Brenda (Dave) Stickels of South Haven; Five grandchildren – Michelle (Dave) Miller, Melissa (Darren) Bailey, Megan (Chris) Olney, Marcia (Bryan Sieber) Stickels and Michael (Leah Nightengale) Stickels; Eleven great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be at 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the funeral home with Rev. Thomas A. Davenport officiating. Contributions can be made in Joyce’s memory to South Haven’s Hospice at Home.
