Betty was a special friend and Christian sister to me for many years, both before we moved away from South Haven and afterwards. We shared many happy trips to Assemblies and Conventions over the years, and she hosted me when I revisited South Haven in 2010. Of course I grieve for her but am comforted to know that she's sleeping in Jehovah Gods memory, and will awaken in the promised resurrection. Betty was always a lady in any situation, always calm and proper and she loved Jehovah and served him to the best of her ability. I sure miss her!

I am so very sorry for your loss. I very much enjoyed taking care of Betty and Christine in my practice. I miss both of them, their visits always brought smiles to everyone. We really enjoyed their sense of humor. I do miss them, both!

I am so sorry to lose such a good friend to our family. We recieved an anniversary card from her every year for 40 years, until her health failed her.
We miss her letters and cards so much...
Phyllis just under went major back reconstrution surgery and has been in an rehab/nursing home in Douglas for some time. We just got her home and she is still in rehab at home. She is not able to go anywhere just yet. She loved your Mom so much and visited her when she could. She was so supportive to Phyllis in the ministry when she first moved to South Haven. Their friendship was one that nothing got in the way over the years. They would still laugh about the time in the ministry when they were talking so much in the car that Phyllis backed into a tree! No bad damage, but they both knew I was going to ask who was talking the most, when they should have been driving safely!
Carol and siblings, we are so sorry, but remember she is safe and waiting on Jesus to wake her up. That is the comfort I had when I lost my mother in death. It is hard but remember what a strong woman she was in her day and the love she had for you all. Please know our love for her will remain until the day we all welcome her back, it will be soon.
Please call us soon 269.561.8606. We look forward to hearing from you.
