Dear Family of our church-friend Larry,
We send our sympathies to you, especially to you, Ashleigh. You've been a faithful daughter to assist your dad in getting to Christ Our Savior, all of the Sundays that your dad could comfortably get there. We thank God for your dad's life and faith, shared with many of us on the corner of 120th and Riley, Holland. We will miss his deep spiritual insights. We are personally sad that we won't be able to attend Monday's funeral. Pastor John will be at a Pastor's Conference, and Carol has a doctor appt. You will be in our prayers, and call anytime, Ashleigh or Sue B. God bless you all!

Dear family of Larry Borah,
I just wanted to tell you kids that all of us, the Martin family, are so sad to hear of your dad's passing and are sorry for your loss. We enjoyed getting to know him and his pets. I also enjoyed talking to him on FB. It so impressed me that, even with the serious struggles he had, he would share words of encouragement, comfort, and faith to others.

You will be missed MacGyver, you taught me the true meaning of fixing parts way above my pay grade. When you retired the 126 Armor lost a true master mechanic now heaven has gained one.

To the Borah children, I am very sorry for the loss of your father. He always had a smile on his face when I would see him out driving his scooter around town or at church. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. Time will heal the hurt but will never take the memories you made with him. God has called him home so he does not have to suffer any more. He loved and was very proud of all his children and always had a twinkle in his eye when he spoke of you. Ashleigh, it was such a blessing to see you always trying to help your dad at church. God bless you all.

To Larry's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss, what a great fellow Larry was, I worked with him for a lot of years at Guardsmen in Holland Mi. I had the blessing of doing other activities with him also we always had fun snowmobiling, drinking a few beers, and I also used to go watch him race RC cars. I have seen and talked to him now and then when I was in Holland, he will greatly be missed by a lot of us. He was a true friend you could always count on when you need it. God Bless you all Randy Shelton Hamilton Mi

To Larrys family, I send my deepest sympathy . I had the pleasure of meeting him in younger years and he was so much fun and so funny. somehow he always kept that sense of humor, no matter what. To my brother and sister that spent tons of time with him, I wish I could take away your pain. I know how much he was loved by you and will be missed. I know people always say, oh, they are in a better place now, but Larry really is. It was his time for no more suffering, and god just might have a plan for him now. Just try and remember all your wonderful times with him, I am pretty sure that's what he would have wanted. See you some day Larry, make sure you are there to meet all of us.

Our deepest sympathies are with you at this difficult time. I know it is hard to lose a loved one, but your dad will always be with you in spirit. Treasure the many special memories you have of him and trust that he will always watch over each of you. Our family truly enjoyed having you as neighbors and, more importantly, as friends. Good day everyone, Larry was a great friend of mine also, in a different time years ago. Larry assisted getting me through some tough times, along with a few others from the old neighborhood !
Larry could find the humorous side to almost anything, or he'd make one up. I sold him the '54 Chevy he somehow kept running for longer than I thought it would.
Larry was a good person years ago, and by the sound of folks near him more recent, he was the same man.....don't know if I can imagine him having kidz, when I knew him, that's all he was.
Anyway, I imagine he's in a much better place, awaiting the rest of us.
Thx, Jim
