David's family, I just read about the loss of your loved one. What caught my eye was how old he was. It's very sad when we lose a loved one to death at such an early age. I send my sympathy. I have been contacting folks at times like this to offer comfort from the Bible. Many that I have talked to have told me they know what religions teach about death and the future, but not what the Bible says. Genesis 3:19 says that when we die we return back to the dust that we came from. What about the future? Here are some scriptures that can be found in any Bible: Psalm 37:29 John 5:28,29 Acts 24:15 Isaiah 25:8 Isaiah 35:5,6 and Revelation 21:4. We can believe them because Revelation 21:5 says: "Write, for these words are faithful and true." God's Word can calm our hearts and minds when no human can. David is in Our Creator's memory. I hope these scriptures can encourage you to look forward to the time when we can see our loved ones again under better conditions. Sincerely, Cathy Taylor
