Sheila Jean Heiser

Sheila Jean Heiser, 55, of Grand Junction, passed away at her home on Monday, June 9, 2014. She was born July 7, 1958 in Benton Harbor.  Sheila was adopted at the age of 2 days by Richard and Ruth (Franklin) Roe of South Haven and was a South Haven High School graduate, Class of 1976. She attended the First Baptist Church of South Haven.   Sheila married the love of her life, Thomas Heiser in 2000. She enjoyed photography, camping, and loved her dogs. Sheila cherished her time spent with family and friends and was rarely seen without a smile on her face.

She is preceded in death by her parents & birth parents, Nyle Myers & Mickey Crowley.

Sheila is survived by her husband – Thomas Heiser; brother – Mitchell Roe of South Haven, and beloved dog – Jackson. Sheila is also survived by her biological siblings, Vicki A (Larry) Ott, Steve (Veronica) Myers, Cindy A. Dischinger, Pam (Brian Elsner) Stuch, Lori (Bud Moore) Herrero, Joe, Dan and Jim Carrington, her Aunt Sandy Krickhahn & numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. She is further survived by Toms siblings, Mary (Harry) Weber, Jim (Traci) Heiser and David Heiser.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven.  Funeral services will follow visitation at 1:00 PM with Rev. Harold F. Filbrandt officiating at the funeral home. Sheila will be laid to rest at the Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sheila's memory to the Heiser family.
