I have known Sheila since I was a small child. She babysat my brother and me, many, many moons ago. We lost touch over the years but recently reconnected. Sheila hadn't changed a bit, she was such a happy and loving person. I always enjoyed talking to her and sharing stories of our boxers! I will miss talking to her and extend my sincerest condolences to you, Tom, and the rest of her family. Much Love and Prayers to all.

My deer sweet cousin, they say your first friends are your cousins, so we have been friends since birth, we played together, disagreed, made up, played jokes on each other, ( I'm sorry I "knocked" on your cast the day after you broke your arm, I really didn't know that it would still hurt!) got in trouble together, shared secrets that were never, ever told to another person. We were closer than sisters and were 11 months and 22 days apart in age ( I'm the older one, so you HAVE to listen to me....), and for one last time, I love you the most...... Uh Huh!!!!

Tom/Mitch and Family -
Sheila was one of my very first friends starting in kindergarten at Lincoln School. We stayed friends throughout our adult lives and I will miss her smile and hugs. May the Lord give you peace and comfort you in this dark hour.

I always knew who Sheila was since we grew up in such a small town, but I didn't really get to know her until I was a freshman and she was a junior in high school. I can't remember how we connected, but I am thankful we did. I admired her kindness, honesty, and caring. Mess with her friends or family? You will see such fierceness coming from that tiny person. I am thankful for Facebook for making it so easy to keep in touch with her. I'll miss our chats, her posts and most importantly...Sheila herself. My prayers and thoughts go out to Tom and her family. Sheila will be missed!!

Sending our condolence and prayers at this time to the family and friends of Shiela. I knew of Sheila, she graduated a few years ahead of my sister, Jill Hood Warren. I knew she was a nice gal from South Haven. I spoke with her here on facebook a little, and got to know her personally. She was so kind, loving, and sweet. The Lord took her to live with Him in heaven now. May He wrap His loving arms around Mr. Heiser, her husband, and let him know that Sheila is well and happy. The Lord will heal your broken hearts, in time. We are praying for your family during this difficult and sad time. God is love. Jesus cares. Rest in peace Sheila.

Sheila was an amazing classmate and friend. She always had a kind word and encouragement for everyone. She could light up a room with her smile and put you in a good mood if you felt down. She will be greatly missed.

Tom,
I am so sorry to hear of Sheila's passing. She was always such a nice person and fellow classmate. It was fun reconnecting with her recently when the "Class Of 76-Nila Project" was going on. May God Bless you and your family and help you through these difficult times.

My deepest sympathy to Sheila s family. I went to high school with Sheila and we reconnected the past few years. Her parents and mine were friends for many years. I always admired her strong faith. Now she is "home" with the Lord. Very sorry for your loss.

Sheila was one of the best people that I have known. Always a kind word and she always called ya "Hon". We have been neighbors for the past 14 years and she was one of the best. Its so surreal to think she is gone but I know she believed in God and that he has a plan for her. Rest in peace Sheila and I will always miss your kindness.
