Dear Wagners: Aunt Betty will be missed by many. She was dedicated in everything she did, a great role model for all. I'm glad she isn't suffering anymore. It's her time to rest, and finally, back with you Dad, Uncle Adolph. With all my love, cousin Deb

Betty was one of a kind and a special one of a kind too! I knew Betty many years from bowling, church, and taking ceramic classes with Virginia Reeder. Oh My, what stories she used to tell all of us at ceramic classes! She had all of us in stitches with her stories of high school and the antics of her and her classmates. Betty was a no nonsense person sometimes but only when it came to her work for the city. If she got mad at the council (for what ever reason, she never said), she's give them stockings for Christmas filled with real coal!! She was a very special lady who was full of laughter and joy and loved Christmas. I'll miss her smile and joy at life! Love you Betty!

Betty was one of the kindest people I know.. She will be greatly missed.
My Mom Pat Newnum and Betty volunteered together at the hospital coffee shop, every Thursday afternoon..They soon became close friends.
Our prayers and thoughts are with her family at this time. May you find peace in knowing that she is with our Lord in heaven.

Rich and family-I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I loved chatting with her in the coffee shop at the hospital. She always asked what my neighbor was up to. (The ex city mayor) She always had such kind words about him. :)
She will be missed by many. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Betty lived across the street from my mom, Mary Jane Collard. After my mom passed away, any time I saw Betty the first thing she'd say is "I sure do miss your mom." Well, Betty, you and mom can chit-chat to your heart's content now!

Wow 91, what a woman, what a great life ! To her sons, John, Mike, and Rich and their families, our condolences. Betty's laugh was enjoyable and contagious, guaranteed to make you smile. Last saw her during a 2012 visit, where she was the most lively member of the coffee clutch with her sister-n-laws, talking about her sons. Thinking of her brings back fond memories of Adolph.

Dear Mike & Joyce & family: I was away and only now hear of Betty's passing. I enjoyed her as a neighbor on South Haven St. and as a voting inspector at City Hall years ago. Our family extends our sympathies to you all.

Mrs. Wagner was such a great room mother when we were in 4th grade. She was so kind and caring. I remember once she brought cupcakes with pink frosting -- I was so impressed by the pink frosting for some reason. They were the best! I remember her kindness all these years later. Rest in peace, Mrs. Wagner.
