Sandy & Bill,
We are losing our greatest generation one by one. What a wonderful legacy your mother has left you. God's blessings during this time of loss but know that heaven is smiling as it gains an angel.
Blessings to you, Kathy & Chuck Dailey

Another end of an era. From baked beans to pie crust, rarely does a week go by without having Aunt Esther come to mind. She will always live on in my memories.

Esther was such a bright light for a young teenage girl moving to Casco. She and Rank embraced my family and made us feel so welcome. She will be surely missed.

THE COLOR OF MEMORIESΒ TABLE ARRANGEMENT was sent by Tom Bryant.
To my dearest and favorite Great Aunt, the one and only Esther, whom I have loved and cherished since childhood. You and the "Wilkinson cousins" were always a hugely important part of my family and I will never forget the many laughs we shared, and great times I spent with you and the rest of my Lyman clan over the years. Rest in peace my sweet Essie. Love - Tom Bryant

I was so sorry to hear of Esther's passing. She was such a great lady who had a wonderful sense of humor. I remember at Halloween time each year we would make sure to go to her house because she always gave out wonderful treats. My deepest sympathy to the Wilkinson family.

I was so sad to hear the news of Aunt Esther's passing. She was always such a shining light, and one of the funniest characters I've ever known. I know how hard it is to lose such a wonderful mother, aunt, sister, and friend. I can picture Aunt Essie, Uncle Variell, Grandpa Lyman, Aunt Marilyn, Gary, and my mom, Vivian, having a great big, loud, funny reunion in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Two words: Calico Beans. And Custard Pie. I think I was more comfortable in Esther's kitchen than anywhere else in Casco. The old typewriter was always standing by with the newsletter half written. Her famous one liners, "I have to eat enough to keep my wrinkles filled out". Her voice always carried over the congregation when we said the Lord's Prayer. I will never forget her.

Gosh, Esther sure was a big part of my memories of growing up in Casco. Her beans are a favorite recipe of mine that I share with people down here in Florida now. Those Casco cookbooks have a lot of memories of not only the delicious food, but the lovely people who provided the fantastic recipes with love. Church, and most Casco events were attended by many friends and neighbors who are still living, and are in heaven now. I look forward to seeing people; and pray for the souls of Esther and many ohters. May her friends and family know that God is with them and wrapping his loving arms around them at this time of grieving.

Dear Esther, you lived next to my grandparents(Clint & Zella Ridley) for many years. Geraldine was my Mom. The Casco community surely held you dear to their hearts 10
