Richard, Kristin, Rich & Families,
I always loved going to your house with Kristin in grade school--remember Mary making home-made pizza. I remember Mary from working at Maple Grove and last visited with her in the D&W parking lot just before we moved to the U.P. 20 years ago. May happy memories of Mary carry you through your grief. Prayers to your families.

I'll always remember Mary's kindness. Many a time she would drop in to say hello when I was just a kid taking piano lessons from Opal to always a kind word at church. My, how she loved to hear Richard play all the instruments - piano, organ and marimba. And, how she was so interested in all the doings at church, who was there, who was missing and all. She was definitely a pillar of Casco and will be greatly missed. Best especially to one of my favorite people in all the world, her husband Richard. Be well.

Dick, Rich and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. We were privileged to get acquainted with Mary through my work with you, Dick, at FMC and the very pleasant relationship that developed as our family business was employed to help with the painting on family homes through the years. She will be missed by so many, in so many ways; may your memories bring you comfort during this time and in the years to come.

Another one from the greatest generation has passed. Mary's mother was my first & second grade teacher, so I knew that Mary would be a kind, but firm, teacher. It was always a privilege to teach with her at Lincoln! We will miss her very much, but God has gained another angel.
Blessings to all the family, Kathy & Chuck Dailey

Richard,
Thinking of you. Sorry for your loss of Mary. I remember her from the times when my Dad, Edwin Blakeslee, was taking organ lessons from you. Back in the days when the Organ Club went to others homes to play for each other. Mary was such a sweet person.
My nickname was Debbie back then. Prayers of Peace for you and your family.

Mary was our first "groupie" for the Casco Band...she followed us to all our concerts for many-many years, taking pictures, putting together the programs, and keeping Richard in line. She was a true inspiration for all who knew her, and was loved by all. We will miss you Mary, but know you will be a big part of our lives whenever we "Strike Up the Band!"

Richard, Kristen, Rich and families: So sorry. Mary & I have been friends since grade school. A long friendship. Whenever we met there were no complaints about her health, just wanting to know about me and my family. She and my Mom are now together to discuss us all. Prayers and God's peace wished for you in the days ahead.

It is difficult to find the correct way to respond to the passing of Mary Barden. Maybe Mark Twain said it best when he suggested: "Let us so to live our lives that when it comes time to die even the undertaker is sad." We will miss you Mary.

Dear Richard and family, Yes, another Titan of Casco has fallen. We saw Mary last summer and her presence was light even then, but she had a twinkle in her eyes and was a great conversationalist. Best wishes as you carry on.

Condolences, prayers and thoughts, Richard at the passing of Mary. Enjoyed many good times with her and you over the years. I remember with a smile the "computer lessons" from time to time as there were problems with a program on the computer or her not knowing how to do a certain thing.
Love,
John
