Jean's Obituary
Jean Amiee Franckowiak, 85, of South Haven, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in South Haven. She was born February 12, 1930 to Herbert and Vega (Thorell) Erickson in Rockford, Illinois. Jean worked as a book keeper for SE Overton and as an accounting officer for Old Kent Bank for fourteen years before retiring. She enjoyed completing puzzle books and even sewing when she was younger. Jean was a former president of the Scott Club.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by sister Sherie Meline.
Jean is survived by her children – Janet (Jim) Bartel of South Haven and Blane (Kathy) Franckowiak of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren – Nicole (Steve) Skodack and Chris Olson; great granddaughter – Charliegh; siblings – Jeanette Erickson of Michigan and Dan Erickson of Wisconsin.
Private family services have been held.
