Jean and my sister, Marian Sherman, had been very good friends...I remember Jean having such a good sense of humor. She came to Naperville with my sister to help me with a home boutique sale in 1983/4. I also loved her home as I took piano lessons from Miss Shoemaker who had once owed her home.

So sorry to hear about your Mom, Janet; we used to work together at S.E.Overton Company; always enjoyed talking to your Mom; I remember how your Mom and Marilyn were good friends; they were inseperable; we always had a good time together.

I enjoyed taking care of jean.talking and joking around with her.as long as I knew her she was a friendly lady.sorry for your lost but she is no longer in pain and in a better place.

Jean was a Scott Club friend and also a good neighbor. I already miss our over the fence chats and driving her to Scott Club Past Presidents luncheons. Our deepest sympathy to her family.

Over a luncheon at Scott Club, I looked up at her and asked, "Did they write the song, "Jeepers Creepers" about you?!" My reward was her smile, laugh, and mostly, her friendship. She was easy to admire in so many ways.
