Ronald's Obituary
Ronald Jay Colton, 86, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at his home under Hospice care. Ronald was born June 24, 1929 to Herbert and Jeanette (Cook) Colton in Holland, Michigan. Ronald served his country during the Korean Conflict. Ronald married Dorothy Falk on May 23, 1955 in Angola, Indiana. He was a Sergeant at the Michigan State Police Academy for 36 years before retiring in 1988. Ronald was an avid golfer and tennis player.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his brother Herbert Colton, Jr.
Ronald is survived by his wife of sixty years – Dorothy Colton of South Haven; sons – Scott of South Haven and Gregory Colton of Greenville, Michigan; grandchildren – Gregory and Ethan Colton.
Private family services have been held.
