Carol and I were friends and classmates in high school. We were the famous last class to graduate from South Haven High School (Central School). Four years ago our class had a reunion and she and I got to catch up at the breakfast on Sunday. She had some serious and chronic medical problems and she talked about how she was coping. I hope she did not suffer in death. To any family she may have alive still, I wish you my condolences. May she rest in peace!

Oh, Carol, how you will be missed by all of us at Awesome Breastforms. When you were not able to crochet or knit forms for our ladies, you still found a way to help, quickly playing an important and integral role in our volunteer group. In your usual quiet, kind and humorous way, you were our cheerleader and our friend, dedicated to helping women in need just because it needed doing. I was lucky that I could also call you family. You are in our thoughts, Christopher, Christine, Julie and Jef.

I met Carol through Awesome Breastforms on Facebook only a couple of months ago. In that time, it was clear that she was an exceptional, kind, generous woman. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to get to know her for just that short amount of time. She added grace to the world; the world feels smaller without her. My love and condolences to Carol's family.

I only had the privilege of knowing Carol for a short time through Awesome Breastforms. However, in that time she was a bright shining light and I shall continue to see that light as we carry on bringing joy to many women with her cheering us on from Heaven.
