Barbara's Obituary
Barbara Jean Ridley, 81, of South Haven, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Willows Nursing Home in St. Joseph. She was born March 18, 1934 to Leo and Ethel (Quick) Hunt in South Haven. Barbara worked for Dr. Koch’s office in Bangor as a Dental Tech and then a Hospital Ward Clerk at South Haven Community Hospital. She married Robert Ridley on January 24, 1950 in South Haven.
She is preceded her husband of 56 years, Robert Ridley who passed in 2006 and children – Michael Ridley and Donna Kaczmerek who passed in 1953 and 1987 respectively.
Barbara is survived by her children – Gary (Valerie) Ridley of Bangor and Julie Eide of Hartford and siblings – Dorothy Rithcemel of Holland, Lucy Wolf of Archbold, Ohio, Carolyn (Forrest) Pettis of South Haven, Cecil Hunt of South Haven, Charles (Evelyn) Hunt of Batesville, Arkansas, Donald Hunt of South Haven, and Allen Hunt of South Haven. 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren also survive.
Private family services have already been held. Barbara will be laid to rest at McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township.
