Some of my favorite teenage memories were of "Maudie" and I, in the summer, setting up shop with our sewing machines in the screened garage and talking and sewing away. I felt like she was my best friend at the time. You were lucky to have such a dear, kind, sweet mom and grandma and it has to hurt that she has passed. Mycondolences to you all.

Memories of my Aunt Barbara are many. She was always right there to gather our family together. I have many wonderful memories of our entire family at her house (in the garage) for picnics, family birthdays, anniversaries and graduation parties. She loved nothing more than showing her love for us by hosting big gatherings and making large quantities of food. Now is our time to honor her memory by setting aside differences and doing our best to pull together and embrace her qualities of love and forgiveness. My family and I will be keeping the siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in our prayers. Let us remember that she left a wonderful imprint on all of us and by coming together we will be are honoring her and her wishes.
