When I think of Matt, I can still see the young, smiley, dark haired, happy teenager I first met. Matt had the most beautiful smile! Not to mention the way he would laugh. Although he struggled to smile and laugh sometimes as we got older, he still had a lot of heart. He was special and we are all lucky to have known him. His beautiful smile, and that laugh, will be the memory I keep. Matt's family will be in our prayers.

I met Matt as a young man in Bangor and he was always smiles and such a happy young man. I am so sorry for the loss for everyone involved in his life. Especially his children...he was always a ray of sunshine even in his darkest days. I will miss u Matt....U were an awesome friend. Sorry I could not make it to your memorial but I'm sure u understand my situation....fly high my friend..

When Matt and his brothers came to SH from MA, they quickly became one of us. Especially Matt because we would ask him to say car (among other random words) a million times, not only would he do it, but he'd laugh with us. (His MA accent) Over the years we have remained friends, even nicknamed Tattoo Matt by the kids he always brought tattoos for and those who knew he tattooed YOUR NAME on his butt just because it was a funny way to make people laugh. I'm so glad your no longer in pain my friend, your soul can rest peacefully. You will never be forgotten. Much Love, Brook

Matt.. I remember the first day we met at school.. U fit in like u been there for years.. U always had such a great out look on things.. As we got older u were inconvienced with pain n other issues.. U were taken from all of us way too young!! I know that u are no longer in pain however I know that you went through that pain daily for ur girls!! Even though u may not be with us physically but you definately will never be forgotten!! You made a big impact on those who you friended and I'm glad you were not only my friend but you also spoiled my boys..!! We will never forget ur silly accsent n that goofy smile of yours!! I'm so sorry that you had to leave us so soon however your memory will live on thru each one of us u touched!! God bless you my friend..
