Dennis was a remarkable leader. From his first visit to our plant, and every one thereafter, he took the time to call you by name and talk with you about everyday life. I feel like he made a special point not to be perceived as superior to his subordinates. I have a great deal of respect for his example of leadership and his mutual respect for others. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

I am so sad to hear this news. I had the pleasure of working with Dennis at Vibracoustic. He had a great balance of business and people skills; no matter what was happening, people were his first concern. He took the time to visit with people at all levels of the organization each time he was in NH. During dinner meetings, he would keep us all entertained with stories about his wife, children and grandchildren who he adored as well as his sporting adventures including crazy snowmobile stunts. At dinner one night, he said something that stuck with me - he wanted to know his family not just as family members but as individual people...what were they thinking, learning, feeling, aspiring to, etc. so he could create a memory or contribute to their development. I remember him telling us about reading the Harry Potter series at the same time as the kids so he'd have an excuse to engage them in conversation which would always lead to another conversation that led to a "priceless memory". My deepest sympathies to his entire family. Please know that he cherished every minute with you!

Dennis was one of my cousins that I was extremely proud of. When I think of him I always see his smile. I am very sadden that his life was cut short. He impressed me so much when he drove 10 hours during the night to make sure he was at my dad's funeral (his uncle). He said he just couldn't miss Uncle Jimmy's funeral. He will be missed very much by many people but know that he is in heaven having a wonderful reunion with his parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and another cousin, Eileen. Gloria, kids, and Debbie, David, Diane, Donna & Danny, I am so sorry for all of you.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Dennis's passing. He was without doubt a great leader, who knew instinctively how to maximize people's potential. He was a mentor a friend to me in difficult times and helped me with a very difficult decision. I spent time in Europe with him and he made a long period of time enjoyable with his personality. God bless his family.

Very saddened to hear of this sobering news. I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Dennis here in Canada during his early tenure with CTS. He always spoke proudly and glowingly of his wife and family. That genuineness always shone through in his interactions with people at all levels in the organization. He continued to be a mentor to me and provided invaluable support and guidance all the way through into this past year. For that I am grateful. My condolences to Gloria and his family. He will be missed. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

My deepest heartfelt condolences on your loss. Dennis was a fine man and a definite positive influence on me. I worked with him during his time at CTS. He will always be known for the hard work he put forth during our Toyota pedal recall campaign. He had a great sense of humor and we had lots in common due to our farm upbringings. I had many great and positive conversations with him during our time together. He will be missed but never forgotten. God bless you all.

I am shocked and saddened by this news. I knew Dennis through his time at CTS, he was a fine man who provided true leadership to us all through some very testing times. Like others have said his pride in his family always shone through. I was lucky to travel a number of times with him in Europe and each trip was an adventure and a delight. He always had time for people, fair to say that most people felt they worked with Dennis, rather than for him. My condolences to his family.

Gloria and family, we are so sorry for the sudden and shattering loss you are experiencing. It is hard to believe as Dennis was so young and so active. I am very sorry to miss Dennis' services due to travel conflicts. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. In the time I worked with Dennis, it was always very clear that his family was the most important part of his life. He was so proud of all of you and loved sharing family stories. I hope you can all gain strength from one another and take comfort that Dennis lived life to the fullest and I am sure expects all of you to carry on with the intent to do the same. Cherish one another and all of your good memories. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Dear Gloria and family, Laura and I were deeply saddened and shocked to hear the news about Dennis' passing. He was a wonderful person to know and work with. He shared his talent and experiences unselfishly and was simply a very pleasant person with whom to spend time. I will be eternally grateful for the opportunity Dennis gave me to join him at CTS where I met so many great people, including the management team Dennis had assembled. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Gloria and family, I was shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Dennis. I worked for and with Dennis at CTS during those fateful times of the auto downturn in 2008/2009 and a subsequent product recall. Dennis was a leader made for those times, given his command of his business, his unflappability, and above all, his concern for all members of the team. He will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to you and the family. Regards, Mohan

Dennis was a great guy and a good friend. There are a lot of good memories from the old NESCO days. Although we have all gone our separate ways, I will never forget the good times and good friends from those days in Zearing and McCallsburg. I want to pass on my condolences to the family. You all will be in my thoughts.

The love Dennis had for his family and friends is evident by the many comments added to this page and other social media forms. His family and friends were able to enjoy a night of remembrance during the visitation and continued it at his farmstead. A nice bonfire was set followed by a lantern release. It was a fitting tribute to Dennis. I thank his wife, Gloria, and children, Kelli, Kodi, and Jeff, for allowing this to happen. His service was located in a most beautiful setting along Lake Michigan. The sunset on the evening of the service at the lake was breathtaking. Dennis touched so many lives from childhood up until his death. He was also able to donate his kidneys. We all hope they found their way to help the life (lives) of someone else.
