Lee's Obituary
Lee Harold Soergel , 74, of South Haven, Michigan passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Bronson South Haven Hospital in South Haven. He was born August 22, 1942 to Lester and Anne (Mielke) Soergel in South Haven . Lee worked as a Supervisor for many years at Lovejoy, Inc. in South Haven.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Loren Soergel.
Lee is survived by his wife - Gratia (Nower) Soergel, brother - Les (Sue) Soergel, Children – Ron Young of Goshen, Indiana, Gregory (Dawn) Young of Lawrence and Missy (Toby) Dornan of South Haven, Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
Lee enjoyed golfing, bowling and weekly card games with his friends. Lee had many good times with his brother. He was a very special man to his family. He lived his life exactly the way he wanted As his brother always said., “If you couldn’t get along with Lee, you couldn’t get along with anybody!”
Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in South Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Al Van Humane Society. For all who love Lee, the family would like you to memorialize him with one random act of kindness.
