So sorry to hear of Lee's passing. He was a great classmate, class of 1960. We were always told we are second cousins to the Soergel boys but no one could ever explain that part of the family tree to us. Rest in peace Lee.

Condolences to Lee's family. I remember Lee from the Foodtown days (early 60's). My brother-in-law Curtis Holmes ran the restaurant and my mom and stepdad ran the grocery end. Curt made fresh donuts every day and Lee worked form him. Lee was in high school at the time. Lee and Curt used to wager on who could the most donuts out of the hot grease just using their hands. They pretty much broke even. The two of them talked me into trying and laughed their asses off when I ended up with no donut, but had blistered fingers. What a hoot. Loved growing up around Lee. He was a good friend to a young boy and provided me with many fond memories. May he RIP.

I have been friends with Lee for over 45 years. My dad introduce us when i first moved up here. At our weekly poker game we called him FULL HOUSE LEE because more times than not a full house is all we would see. Lee loved to bowl he loved to golf I know he loved playing poker to. That defined him as a person that is what he liked to do.That does not define the fine Human Being but we all know what does his smile his gentle ways and the fact that everyone loved him just the way he was. Gras we know you will miss him we will miss him to So take our prayers and thoughts with you to help you see this throu. I know from now on when we play cards and one of lays down a full house for every one to see We will all just smile and think of FULL HOUSE LEE

Dear Soergel Family, So sorry to hear of you loss. I go back to the days when Lee, his brothers and I played little league baseball together in South Haven. I was fortunate to have had all of his children as students and was blessed to have coached his boys. I could tell that they were the children of good parents and I know all three of you feel fortunate to have had such a loving dad to guide you in your growing up years. We have lost a friend and a great man. Be reassured that he will welcome you all into Heaven when the time comes for you to be together again. Affectionately, Jim McCloughan
