I have such great memories of Don when I was in South Haven. Got to know him through his son-in-law, Bill Daggett with whom I worked at SHPD. I was especially taken with his museum vehicles and artifacts! Just a nice guy, too! Sincerest condolences to my good friend Coleen, and to all the family and friends of this unique man.

So sorry for your loss Colleen, your dad was such a great guy and my husband Bob loved chatting with him every spring when he would go and get our Motorhome out of storage at your dads place. He will be missed by many. I'm sure he and bob will reunite in heaven. Sending prayers your way.

Don was one of those very special people. I only knew him through my Dad, H V Morris and was with him only a few times when he joined us for dinner when we visited FL. Those evenings were hilarious - listening to the many tall tales of he and my Dad's antics. We had aching sides from all the laughter. He always had such a sweet demeanor, but with a mischievous eye. He'll surely be missed. Godspeed.

Dear Cleveland Family: I have many an opportunity to talk and do business with both your Mom and Dad, let me just say I always enjoyed my conversations with him. He would always leave my office satisfied I believe. He was a true gentleman that worked hard for his family and others that were close. May Bless you with Wonder memories that will last a lifetime.

Coleen, Conee, Bill and Don! I am profoundly sad and heartbroken your Dad has gone around the next big curve in the road. Have faith, he found waiting the person he loved and cherished so much - Myrna! After 2011, when I was on chemo, I would pick up your Dad and go to βour tableβ at McD for coffee. Your Dad needed a shoulder and maybe I did too. In his lifetime he accomplished so much! In all the years, his talk was always about Myrna and you Guys. I am so Blessed & thankful I had these years with him and to meet you and Families. Thank you for the opportunity to join you in the Celebration of Donβs life ! Your Dad & Mom - Don and Myrna - treasures of a lifetime !!!! Love you !!!

Marg and I were shocked and saddened when we heard of Don's death. I have many fond memories of Bangor days. It was always a treat to visit the museum and talk about old times. Myrna, his wife was in my class in Bangor. We had special times with the Clevelands and the Lovelands. Don could be successful in whatever he set his mind to do. He was a special friend and a great loss to special guy.

To all the Cleveland Family. I just found out today from Bill Krohn that your father had passed. I am so sorry to hear that. My prayers to your family. Don and Myrna used to let me store my yellow vett in their garage in the winter when they would leave for Fl. I sure appreciated it. Even let me take it out on nice days which I could not have done any other place.. Brenda Balfour
