I have known June since I was a very young girl. If I am correct, she was the last remaining matriarch of the South Haven Seventh Day Adventist Church. One thing that was not mentioned in her hobbies was her love of swimming. She could be seen many times swimming in Lake Michigan against the waves, not with them. She eventually had a swimming device built into her home. She had a lot of the boys over for meals from the Pole Vaulting team. I had never heard her say a bad word about anyone and Christ played the number one part in her life. She will be missed.

My most cherished friend. I will miss you.. we met at Lake Michigan College. I had just returned from serving in the Army.
