Dear Deb and family, please accept my sincere condolences on Phil's passing. I have fond memories of working with both Phil and Deb for many years at the Gazette.. Phil was a kind man who always had a smile on his face, and truly was one the "good guys." I am sorry that I am unable to attend the memorial service in South Haven, but please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers that day.. May he Rest In Peace.

Debbie, Phil was such a neat guy and I enjoyed helping you plan your cruise/tour to Alaska last year. Who knew that was going to be the last trip but what a memorable one!! You have your memories to keep him in your heart. David really enjoyed meeting Phil and talking with him. Heaven gained another angel!!

My condolences Paula. I had not only the pleasure of knowing Phil in South Haven but also of working with him at the Gazette. I still remember the day he started there...he walked back to the art department just to say hello to a "fellow South Havenite" as he called me. He always had a smile on his face. Love and prayers to the family. Kathy

Paula - So sorry for your loss. I can remember teasing Phil and the Olsen girl while they sat on her front porch. Also remember the Ford with the "Bubble" skirts. Phil was fun to be around.
