To Margaret's Family...I was saddened to read about Margaret's death. She had become a fixture on Monroe Blvd., part of the Thursday night cocktail gang along with my Mom, Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Johnston, Mrs. Overhiser (sp?), and Mrs. McGuire. Excuse me if I left anyone out. Margaret also bought my Uncle Joe's home and put life and style back into it. She spent a few Halloweens at Ric's and my home with the rest of the Thursday night gals. Margaret was a kindred spirit, an animal lover, an upbeat intelligent woman. Monroe Blvd. will never be the same for the loss of these women. My best to her family. PJ Canonie-Bubin

Margaret and I went through kindergarten to graduation together. She was a member of the great Class of 1955 and did not have an enemy - everyone loved her. She was a part of some of my favorite memories. God be with you dear friend.

Margaret was a wonderfully charming person, with a smile for everyone that crossed her path. She was a great friend of my mom's, but I too enjoyed your zest for life.

Margaret was such a champ and a real gem. We met her in the early 70's at The Upjohn Company and immediately became friends. She had her challenges in life but also had a great sense humor and a warm personality. We are so happy she was able to live her retirement years in her South Haven dream home. God's peace to you, Margaret.

Margaret's humor and smile, along with her dedication to Scott Club and South Haven's well-being is a lost to so many. We were all so lucky to have known her!

I met Margaret through my parents, Sam and Carolyn Bedrosian, who included her in many of our family gatherings year round. Whether playing cards, sharing meals or just visiting Margaret was a joy to be around. I admired her tenacity and independence. She will be missed.

Margaret and I became friends while working at the Upjohn Company and we often chatted together during that time. Then after retirement, a friend and I visited her in South Haven many times and had lunch together. She was always a delight to know. Her love for animals and people were outstanding and I will miss her very much. -Thelma Bennett

She was a fighter, had a special heart for animals, incredible warmth and a fun and zany sense of humor. Our friendship dates back many years though we remained in fairly regular contact until just prior to her death. I will miss my dear friend, Margaret. May she rest in God's loving peace. My dear Margaret. My heart is broken as I thought you would always be here. You brighten my life in my soul and you will be sorely missed by so very many who admired and respected you. Known you for 50 years and that was just not long enough. You always made me laugh inside and out and you touched my very soul. Until I see you again, I hope! Joan Eckert

I too remember Margaret from the good old days at Upjohn. Like so many other former co-workers we lost touch back in the mid 90's as so many of us took exit packages after one or the other of company mergers. Margaret was one of those "I wonder what happened to her" stuck in my head from those days. She was a great person and I always enjoyed my interactions with her for a lot of years. God be with you Margaret.

When I returned to South Haven in my retirement, Margaret was one of the first people to draw me into the community: she invited me to Thursday afternoon drinks at Betty Davis’ house (always fun), to her book club, and to Scott Club. And, before her stroke, we enjoyed many afternoons playing bridge with friends. Throughout, we regularly met for breakfast to “talk everything over.” She asked the most interesting and challenging questions. We had been in Sunday school together many years ago, and reuniting was a joy. Now I want to “talk over”the loss of my friend, but cannot. Rest In Peace, Margaret, and rise in glory.

My heart is💔breaking and our trips to South Haven will never be the same! Our love for dogs brought us together 6 years ago! We met walking our dogs on the bluff... she fell in love with my tiny chocolate yorkie! Many sunsets, meals, church together, deck sitting, talking politics and religion and family! She loved our boys... she was convinced to get one of them to marry her cousin Sara's daughter! If only they would meet!! Sooo many long talks at her house and ours! She loved our baby Yorkie's and always asked how many babies I was bringing for her to hold! Last summer she joined us on the water on a boat ride and saw South Haven and her house for the first time from the water! She made me laugh and sometimes let me cry.... I will miss our talks! Loved you like family Margaret! Xoxo Victor, Teresa, Adrien, Hayden,Ethan and Elliott Corenflos

Since knowing Margaret all these years I can never look at a Scottie Dog without thinking of her ---bringing a smile on my face. She emanated joy and her inner radiance was infectious. She was a special soul and a sweet light. We will miss you Margaret and Scott Club will never be quite the same. I know my mom will miss your friendship immensely and I will think of you often - Love Andrea
