Prayer for the family. She was a beautiful, happy woman. She also made great brownies for the office even after she retired.

She was a beautiful woman inside and out. One of the very best Sunday School teachers ever. She made sure we memorized the books of the Bible in order!!! A wonderful friend to my parents since childhood. She will always be remembered with love and fondness by the Adkin family. Prayers for all. Nancy (Adkin) Cerny

Jeanette said to me many years ago "Isn't it sad that children are made to go to school but not Sunday School!" She was a fun tennis partner (she always beat me). When I needed someone, she was always there. Love to her family at this difficult time.

Mrs. Roderick was my third grade Sunday School teacher and I still recite the verse she had us memorize when I get up in the mornings; "This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." She also directed many Christmas Pageants over the years, which took the patience of Job! Her deep and abiding faith in Jesus is what I remember and admire most about her. I remember how she loved her "Jesus Calling" devotional, saying every morning she sat down with Jesus and He talked right to her. I am sure she is rejoicing with Him right now. Peace to all who love her and will miss her.

Andy Steudle Mrs. Roderick (Seiler) was my 3rd grade Sunday School teacher at First Evangelical Lutheran church back in the 70s. I admired her positive attitude and kindness. I also remember going to her house for pool parties in the summer. She will be missed.

My mother-in-law was amazing! I cannot imagine a more supportive and encouraging person. Jeannette loved Jesus fully and unapologetically, and she devoted her life to becoming more Christ-like every day. Mostly, I will miss her sharp wit and rich sense of humor. I lost a dear friend yesterday.

You know it’s coming but your never ready when it happens. Your Mom was a force of nature. She did nothing half way. She was entertaining on so many levels. So funny in her later years! The thing that resonates most with me is the beautiful family she had. Each of you and your families maintain little bits of her. So she still lingers just not quite as brilliantly.

Jeanette, I'm so grateful for your grace and kindness toward me, Mike, and the kids. Dad and I got to share some wonderful stories of you yesterday while driving through the countryside that the two of you loved to drive through, especially in the past couple of years. We had dinner at the Butler in Saugatuck, a place the two of you loved, and the sunset was so serenely beautiful that we couldn't help but think of you. As others here will say, you were an icon of the South Haven I grew up in - a wonderful Mother, a career woman, beautiful and dutiful! We will miss your grace and intellect, and your silly side as well!
