Robert always had a big smile whenever we talked. Robert always had a great looking garden, always out there in the summer.

Robert was our "neighbor across the street" from the time we moved to CASCO in 2006 until Dave retired from CASCO U.M.C. in 2016. He crossed 66th Street on many occasions with baskets full of his garden goodies. He grew delicious produce and shared it with our family every garden season. Not only was his garden produce delicious, it was always delivered with a smile. After we moved to 107th Avenue, Robert's red truck could be seen coming down the drive and he brought us delicious produce, freshly picked and shared with that friendly smile. The "first of the season" asparagus was a real gift! I was so sad to hear of his passing . Robert made a difference in so many lives. Our grandkids, young when they came to CASCO in 2006, grew up knowing their neighbor Robert and learned so much about his example of generosity. Robert will be missed by his family, friends, community, and church. It seems very fitting that Robert is now a part of the finest in "God's Garden". He served his country, his community, church and his family with a spirit and a smile that will leave a legacy with us all. Farewell, Robert, "Good and Faithful Servant". You were loved and you will be missed.

We are saddened to hear of Robert's passing. Robert often visited our staff and always had a smile on his face and a minute to chat. Our prayers are with you.

Robert so kindly welcomed my dad and I to church each Sunday, as an usher. He will be missed so much at Casco UMC. My sincere sympathy to all of you, his family.
