Frank's Obituary
Frank Herbert Clausen, 91, died October 18, 2019. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 2, 1928. Frank graduated from Boston Technical High School at 16 and entered Dana College, Blair Nebraska at 17. In 1946, he served the United States Navy Medical Corps until his discharge in 1948. He returned to college and graduated from Boston University in 1952. He was an Industrial Engineer for Carrom Industries and Everett Piano Company before working for Sears as a worldwide quality control engineer. Frank was President of Chicago Toastmasters, past board member and Commodore of the South Haven Yacht Club, a member of the American Legion, and the Midwest Danish Men’s Club. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Carol, and their two daughters, three sons, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in South Haven with Kirsten C. Kimball and Pastor Ron Van Lente officiating. Frank will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made Department of Development – Research, Mayo Clinic, 200 First St. SW, Rochester, MN 55905.
