I was saddened to hear of Shari’s passing. I worked with her on the KitchenAid small appliance team. She was truly one of a kind. I loved the way she just said it like it was...she cracked me up. She was also so willing to step in and help. May you Rest In Peace Shari

I hadn't seen Sherri since the old beach days. When she showed up at the office, I had my head down. I heard her talking and laughing and immediately recognized her joyful spirit. What a great loss to our community.

Marc, Mary, Ann, Cari and Family;
We are so sorry to learn of Shari's passing. She was not only a positive influence on those of us who knew her, but she was a stalwart soldier fighting for all that is good with humankind. The world is better that she was here; our memories will soothe our loss.

I will be writing a private note to the Del Mariani family soon. I write here for Shari's friends and kindred Spirits of Berrien County. What a shock to all of us with the news of her death. Shari was a force. And Shari remains a force to anyone who knew her and worked beside her either professionally or politically. Her passion for justice and just plain Truth cut through the current BS dished out today on so many levels in so many arenas. Shari was tough. Shari was a steel magnolia. This I know: if you were liked or loved by her, you knew it. And on the eve of this 2018 election, the way to return her Grace is to vote and to vote your conscience. Our community mourns.

Though I only knew Shari for 6 years, her larger-than-life personality made me feel as though we had always been best of friends. I, along with all who knew her, will always miss her quick wit and deep compassion for others. My condolences to you all.

I can't believe Shari is gone! Her spunk and charisma was so wonderful - she was a gift to all of us. I am sending my positive thoughts to your family and holding Shari in my heart. We worked together briefly at Whirlpool but more so for the Berrien County Democratic Party. She was truly a leader and a pillar for the Party.

What I miss most is Shari's laugh. She had spirit and wit....and deep, deep understanding of the human condition. Shari loved life and was a loyal and sincere friend. Her spirit is now part of all of us.
