Duane's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Duane here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
Our Dearest Uncle Donny, Aunt Pat, Sherrie & Tim, Pam & Bob,
It difficult to know what to write. Other than Uncle Donny - I have not been in touch with you guys at all. It does not surprise me that Duane was a kind, considerate and loving man - look in the mirror! I am sad I did not know him better - my fault. So why did I let this happen? I get busy living my life and dealing with the day to day challenges; and then I take for granted and forget to cultivate the best of life - which is the people walking life with me - those around me (even if far away). Our thoughts and prayers are being offered for all of you and Duane. In Duane's honor, I make a renewal to get in touch and support each other in a more frequent way! May Our Good Lord take Duane home and help us prepare for our Cross Over too! Rest peacefully Duane - say hi to Little Donny - and see ya sometime again!
Love from your ND cousin, Bill

A lifelong friend. We grew up together. Lot's of playing in the dirt with Tonka trucks, Hot Wheels and into adulthood with real cars and stellar parties.
Love you, will miss you.
R.I.P. my friend and brother at heart.

In honor of Duane, Wendi and Brian Stevens lit a candle.
My deepest condolences to the Lefor family. I have fond memories of our school days. Duane and I had a few classes together. He was my cooking class partner at one point. Oh those wonderful home economics classes. Duane was the tall dude coming down the hallway with a wonderful smile. I will always remember Duane as a kind hearted fellow classmate and friend. He will be missed.

In honor of Duane, Diane McCoy lit a candle.
May your family find peace at this time. I went to school with Duane and he was a classmate that you couldn't help but gravitate towards with his kindness to all he came in contact with. Sense of humor made everyone laugh even on the baddest of days. He will be missed greatly.
