Hi cousins,
So sorry to hear of Uncle John’s passing. I know he was really special to my Mom (your Aunt Joy), as he and his brother Jim were like brothers to her when they grew up. I remember Uncle John coming over at Christmas time to visit Mom and my Grandma (your great Aunt Norla Gersonde Berk). He was always jovial and friendly! Your family is in my prayers for peace and laughter to fill your hearts again, as you fondly remember your years together as a family.

Hi Everyone,
I Loved Uncle John, dearly! He always had a big, bear hug for me and something very kind to say. He had one of the best smiles. They would light his face and warm your heart! I know you all are in pain, and I am so sorry! I pray with time you can work past the loss and remember the joy and love! I'm keeping you all in my heart and my prayers!

To write something for John is one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do. I grew up with John and Jim. They were like brothers to me. After we all got married and had a family we didn't get together as much as in earlier days but the closeness and love was always there. Carl and I send our deepest sympathy and love to all of you. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers everyday.

I am thankful for John's friendship and business relationship over many years. I will cheer on the Spartans always (except when they play Wisconsin).

Hey Dad,
I'll miss you and those daily phone calls.
I hope they have FOX NEWS and that new lazy-boy where you are.
And I'm sure you're happy that after all our pestering, you never spent one night at the Whitcomb. I hope Papa Vino's can stay in business now that you're gone.
Love Eric,
" ....... go ahead and tee-off without me,
I'll catch you on the back-nine, play slow give me another 20-30 years, ...... "
