We were sorry to read of Maxine's passing. She and her caregiver would stop by my house and talk about the flowers in my yard. She played golf with my mother, Betty Robbins; and I had no idea Micki was her sister.
God bless everyone.

It was always a joy to see Maxine! And it wasn't just those gorgeous hats! She always had a smile and a sparkle. She and Jake added a special ambience to any occasion. She added much joy to many lives. She will be missed.

To Maxine's Family,
Jake sure knew what he was doing when he "proposed" to Maxine. Max was a beautiful lady - lucky you, Jake!
She became my precious friend when we started Kindergarten together at Fairplain. We lived about a half mile from each other. Max on Fairplain Ave & me on Sunset Lane.
The last time I visited her was when she still knew me. But, I regret I didn't stop again, even though she may not have known me.
My love to Jake, and her wonderful "Kids"

So sorry to hear about Maxine's passing. I have many a memories of growing up with her children and seeing Maxine at school functions. She was such a good looking mom. And then when I started working at Whirlpool in the mid 70's, I would see Maxine come into work every morning. She always had a smile and looked fantastic. The last twenty years or so, she had been a wonderful friend to my mom - living across the street. Prayers and blessing to the family.
