Just now learned of Shirley's passing. My condolences to the family. We go way back to the mid forties, Benton Harbor High School. My childhood pal and neighbor married Jean. Those were halcyon days. May warm memories subdue all sadness.

Ann and I were saddened when we heard of your mom's passing. No matter how long you are with them it still is sad when they leave us. Ann and I recall fondly the times when we would talk to your mom and dad as we "passed their pew" in church. You are all in our prayers.

Craig, Mike & Linda I am so sorry to see your mom's passing. When I think of her, I remember her smile (she smiled with her eyes) and how she taught the "Flanders kids", O' Tannenbaum and the chewing gum song. You are in my prayers.

I met your mom when my mother, Lois Stancik, lived in Redbud at Woodland Terrace. They sat at the same table for meals. When I would join them for a meal, I always looked forward to seeing Shirley. She'd have a smile on her face and an cheerful attitude. She was a lovely lady. I'm sure she'll be missed by many. All my condolences to all of the family.
