We were neighbors for many years and he was always ready to linda a hand and always had a
smile.

My parents Gottfried (Fred) and Doris Dutlof and I were next-door neighbors of Art's when he and
Rose lived on Bishop Street. I was very fond of Art back then and remained fond of him over the
years. I would see him occasionally at my parents house. When I was a little girl, he would let me
help him do yard work in his backyard. He was always very nice to me, and he really liked
children. That is my fondest memory of Art. I will never forget him and will think about him every
June 1st since he died on my birthday.
