Harold was my manager during most of my time with Bendix. He always made it a point to come by
your desk first thing in the morning on your Birthday and your employment anniversary. In all my
career, He has been the only Manager to do that!

I have many fond and loving memories of a man that would be a main influence in my life. I learned
many things from Harold over the years. One of the more lasting lessons was how to conduct
myself as a businessman. He taught me how to be firm, but fair and always let your staff know that
you appreciated their efforts. Harold gave of himself to his family, his friends, his country and for
many dedicated years to his company. He is the grandfather to my children and I will forever be
grateful for his kindness and his example that I was fortunate to expereience. My deepest sympathy
to his family.

Harold was one of the best manufacturing engineering managers I have ever had the pleasure of
working with. He was so well organized that almost every launch went off as planned. He, Gerry
Nosotti and I traveled to Japen in 1981, and Harold was my wise leader suggesting moderation and
listening as our hosts gave us tours. Harold will be missed by all the Bendix Alumni
