My Prayers are with Mark's family...My Mother recently passed away and Starks took care of the services. So I started going through the names at guestbook and notice Mark's name.We were classmates from 0 -11 grade. He was a good friend to me and my brothers Dick Mead & Patrick. I'm sorry again for your loss

Sorry to hear about your lost. I remember when I was young going with my father and mother to
the Wier home, and running around with Mark and his brother on their farm. Then later playing
with Mark in pick up basketball games at Lake Michigan Catholic High. I can never remember
Mark without a smile on his face. Our prayers are with you in your time of healing. Sincerely

Diane, Please accept mine and my entire family's condolence's. I am so sorry to hear of Mark's
passing. He was such a good person.
Just know that you, you children, Aunt Pat, Lao, Mary Ann and Kathy are in my prayers. I asked
for prayer for you and your family at my parents church, too.
Two years ago, my Sister's husband passed away from a severe heartattack and that was such a
shock to us.
If you EVER need any one to talk to, I hope you will concider me to talk to. I enjoyed being related
to the Wier family and I hope you don't dislike me.

I am very sorry for your loss. Mark was a great man and will be dearly missed.
I wanted to send you a little story I have about him that will hopefully bring a little smile to your
face someday.
I worked with Mark at IPC. When I first started there I received the Peachtree account which was
quite a high profile account. We had an order coming from Peachtree that was very large and I
needed to pre order paper. I placed the order for 400,000#'s (10 truckloads) of 35# paper. First of
all, this is a very rare paper for IPC to order as well as a large amount of stock.
After the stock was on it's way, I discovered I ordered the wrong size. The paper was ordered
based on a smaller book than the customer was printing rendering the paper order useless to IPC.
As I stated above, this is not a stock that would most likely be used by another customer and this
was a lot of paper.
I was all of about 21 or 22 and panic stricken. I went to Marks office to tell him what I had done. I
was in tears because I was afraid of losing my job and the customer. When I got there Mark was
not there so I had Paula Hunt page him to his office. When he arrived and saw me crying the first
thing he said was "Quit crying, whatever it is, it's not worth crying about." I explained the
situation to him and he proceeded to call the customer about it. When the customer didn't answer
he left a voicemail simply stating that we were going to change the trim size of his book wether he
liked it or not and hung up.
I sat there amazed (and grinning) at his nerve of telling this to the customer in a voicemail.
However, this was the kind of relationship he had with his customers.
